Where buyers lose money

We priced this market line by line for our studio cost guide and home setup guide. These are the mistakes that come up again and again.

At home

  • Power. larger saunas need a dedicated 240V 30-amp GFCI circuit, and some heaters must be hardwired by an electrician. Check before you buy.
  • Site work. outdoor units need a level, solid base. A 5-person outdoor sauna can weigh over 1,000 pounds.
  • Temperature. a plunge without a real chiller means buying ice. Built-in chillers hold true ice-bath temperatures.
  • Hidden costs. delivery, sales tax, power, water changes and sanitizer are extra.

For a business

  • Wrong grade. a residential unit in a studio will fail, and the warranty won't cover it. Commercial saunas are built for 8–12 sessions a day.
  • Temperature drift. if a plunge swings between 50°F and 60°F during the day, clients notice and stop coming back.
  • Electrical. plan dedicated circuits for every sauna and plunge, typically $500–$3,000 of licensed electrician work.
  • Sanitation and throughput. commercial plunges pair chillers built for daily immersion with sanitation systems (filtration, ozone, UV). Match both to how many clients you'll run.

What it really costs

Commercial sauna$5,400 (entry commercial infrared) to $20,000+ (large-capacity units); mid-range $7,600–$13,000
Commercial cold plunge$4,990–$7,490 entry, $10,000–$16,000 mid-range (the sweet spot for most studios), $16,000–$24,000 ultra-premium

Questions

Does the quote cost anything?

No. The quote is free and there's no obligation to buy. If you do buy, the manufacturer pays us a referral fee. You pay nothing for this service.

Who will contact me?

We will, by email, within one business day. We share your details only with the manufacturer that fits your project, and nobody else calls you unless you ask them to.

Why do you need my phone number and address?

Manufacturers need them to register your quote and to price delivery. The street address is optional on this form. Without it you'll get an equipment price, not a delivered one.

Can my AI assistant request the quote for me?

Yes. Assistants that support MCP can connect to our tools and submit the request after you approve every detail. Others can give you a link to this form with your choices already filled in.

Do you only handle studios?

No. We quote home setups (a single plunge, a backyard sauna, or both) and commercial builds for studios, gyms, spas and team facilities.
